Storage

The standard Arvist hardware is equipped with 500GB of storage, which is optimized for up to 70 cameras. Videos are retained for a maximum of 7 days, and images are retained for 6 weeks by default.

However, for customers requiring extended media retention or using Arvist as a primary NVR system, implementing an external storage solution is recommended.

NAS Storage

Customers can connect a NAS to extend the storage capacity of the Arvist platform. This is essential for those who need to retain footage for longer periods and want to maintain on-prem data storage or have a large number of cameras.

Cloud Storage

We offer a secure cloud storage option to drastically increase media retention. Default media retention policy is 6 months for all media and can be adjusted as needed (pricing may vary).
